contamination of workers and other stakeholders, including
the public. This course provides participants with a solid
overview on how to:

- Understand how radiation interacts with matter
- Understand the biological and health effects of radiation
- Learn to protect yourself from exposure to radiation
- Become familiar with legal obligations with respect to radiation
